NEW MEASURES IN RUHR
TO ACCENTUATE THE PRESSURE
AND COMPEL FULFILMENT OF GERMAN OBLIGATIONS
DECISION OF FRANCE AND BELGIUM
The French and Belgian Governments have decided on new measures to increase tho pressure in the Ruhr and to compel Germany to fulfil her obligations. By Telegraph.—press Association. —OOPYBIGHT. Brussels, June 6. The conference between M. Poincare, the French Premier, and M. Theunis, the Belgian Premier, has opened. It is understood that private discussions have resulted in the \ Belgian and French Governments deciding to increase the pressure in the Ruhr and not to consider German proposals while the passive resistance in the Ruhr continues. —Aus.-N.Z. THE RUHR RAILWAYS ALL IMPORTANT LINES OUT OF ACTION Berlin, June 6. French troops occupied the railway stations of Herne, Wanne, Gelsenkirchen, Kartenberg, and Altenessen, which are closed, thus putting out of action the last important railway line in the Ruhr.
