The Rev. C. C. Harrison presided over a large attendance of circuit ofli--eials at tlie quarterly meeting held in the Northland Methodist Church on Saturday, April 14. The membership returns were reported as being tho same as the previous quarter. The circuit finances were shown to be satisfactory with a small credit balance to carry forward!. Arrangements were made to ensure a successful appeal on behalf of the Overseas Missions, and Mr. T. Brown was appointed circuit mission secretary. A concise re port respecting tho Sunday schools and Young People’s Societies was given to the meeting, and showed that much detail work had been done towards the children’s year programme. Tlie jubilee celebrations of the Molesworth Street Church are' now being held, and the Rev. J. J. Lewis, who ministered at that church 49 years ago, is assisting in the celebrations. The heartiest congratulations of the members of the circuit Meeting were extended to the Rev. Lewis.
