To he floated locally (or otherwise) by the issue of Debentures under the provisions of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920." “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913," and all other (if any) Acts and powers enabling the Council in that behalf. TIYHE WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL J- hereby gives Public Notice that such Council proposes to borrow (by way of Special Loan, within the meaning of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913,” and its Amendments) the sum hereunder set out for the provision of Water Supply and Drainage Systems in the Karori District. UNDERTAKING: Provision in the Karori District of: — (1) System of Water Supply ... £40,000 (2) System of Drainage £48,000 £BB,OOO The Council proposes to pledge a Special Rato not 'exceeding Sixpence and three two-hundredths of a penny (6 3-200 d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved Value) of all rateable property within the Karori District (being the portion of the City of Wellington, portion of the late Borough of Karori, for which it is proposed to provide systems ; of water supply and drainage by this undertaking), as security for the said loan of £BB,OOO, and the interest and sinking fund thereon. It is proposed that the above Special Loan shall be repayable at the expiration of a term of 10 years computed from the Ist day of August, 1923.
