UNDERTAKING: Provision in the Karori District of: — (1) System of Water Supply ... £40,000 (2) System of Drainage £48,000 £BB,OOO The Council proposes to pledge a Special Rato not 'exceeding Sixpence and three two-hundredths of a penny (6 3-200 d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved Value) of all rateable property within the Karori District (being the portion of the City of Wellington, portion of the late Borough of Karori, for which it is proposed to provide systems ; of water supply and drainage by this undertaking), as security for the said loan of £BB,OOO, and the interest and sinking fund thereon. It is proposed that the above Special Loan shall be repayable at the expiration of a term of 10 years computed from the Ist day of August, 1923.
