OAMARU BY-ELECTION
PREMIER SPEAKS TO-NIGHT ■ • BY TELEGIA PH.—PfiESS Christchurch, April 16. “I do not intend to go further south than the Oamaru electorate today,” the Prime Minister stated this morning, when asked if ho proposed to go to "Dunedin to-night. Mr. Massey confirmed tho announcement that he would speak in Palmerston South to-morrow night. “You will be opening the campaign on Mr. Leo’s behalf?” he was asked. “That is tho case,” replied Mr. Massey.
The Prime Minister did not state how long he would remain in tho Oamaru electorate. He said that he would bo in Christchurch on Anzao Dav.
