SOME RECENT SALES The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-opera-tive Distributing Co. Ltd. report having held a supplementary sale at the Glenside yards on Tuesday, when they offered 4000 sheep and 110 cattle to a very large attendance of buyers. Competition was keen, and'we report a total clearance with the exception of 150 ewes. The following are the prices:-—Four , and 5-year ewes, running with S.D. rams, 265. I<M., 205.; good 2-tooth wethers, 275. 6d.; smaller 2-tooth wethers, 255. Id., 235. 3d.; ewe lambs, 20s. 6d-, 195., 18s. 3d.; wether lamOs, 18s. 6d., 175., 15s. 6d. ; small lambs, Ils., 10s. 3d., 9s. 6d.; cows running with Hereford bull, £5 10s.; cows run with S.H. bull, £5 bs.; weaner calves, 30s.

Levin and Co., Ltd., report as follows on stock sales for the week ended April 14: —On Monday the weather was exceptionally rough and only two small pens of lambs came forward to the Bulls sale. Quotations: Medium m.s. lambs, 32 at 16s. 3d., 34 at 15s. At Apiti on Tuesday we had a fair yarding of sheep, all of which were lambs. There was a good attendance, and we had a total clearance at prices on a par with Feilding quotations.
