CHESTER AGREEMENT
Constantinople, April 13. It is reported’ that the Government considers that the French protest against the concessions in the Chester agreement is unjustified. The Commissar of Public Works points out that the concession to the French in 1914 was ■ never approved by the Turkish Chamber, and is consequently not legally binding.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
