NEWTOWN OLUB REUNION. At the Newtown Bowling Club’s green on Saturday, a reunion of past and present members of the club was held. A six-rink match resulted in a win for the past members by 137 to 113. The weather was at its best for the season of the year, and was a considerable factor in making the afternoon thoroughly enjoyable. Sir E. O. Gibbes, a past member, although unable to take part in the game, was an interested onlooker for a greater part of the afternoon. After the completion of play a convivial gathering was held in the club’s pavilion. At the conclusion those present went away well satisfied that the afternoon had been well spent. The games wore played under the Huddart-Parker senior eup rules, whereby each member of the rink filled the position of lead. No. 2. No. 3 and skip, during different stages of the game.
