HOCKEY
PRACTICE AT KARORI. Tlierp was a good turn-out of hockey teams at 'Karori Park on Saturday, wheh" practice matches were played by teams from all the clubs. There are indications that there will he a strong turn-out' of ladies this season, and everything points to a better standard of the stick game this year than last. Tho grounds are in fine order, and next Saturday the first matches of the season should bring out some good play.
