OPENING OF HARRIER SEASON
The official opening of tho harrier season will be held at Lyall Bay this afternoon. The Mayor (Mr. R. A. Wright) has l>cen asked to declare the season open. Alany now runners will be taking pert in this run, and the increasing interest shown will, no doubt, reflect on the longer distance race next year. The final inn home will take place from Freyburg Street, and this should prove a. fine sight, as tlwre will bo very nearly two hundred competitors taking part.
