MAKARA COUNTY COUNCIL
The monthly meeting of the Makara County Council was held yesterday, when there were present: Councillors,<4. Bryant (chairman). E. Windley, L. D. Nairn, S. S. Styles, S. Bowler, and H. J. Monaghan., Tho chairman is to confer with the Johnsonville Board with reference to tho widening of the Wakefieftl-Oharu Road at McCrae’s corner, Johnsonville. No further licenses are to bo issued for boatsheds or bathing sheds after that issue to Mr. Carmen. Three new lamps are to bo procured for Porirua Street lighting.
