YOUNG BLACKGUARDS
SCHOOL AND OTHER BUILDINGS SET ON FIRE by tblegbaph.—Press association. Auckland, April 11. In the Supreme Court to-day Livingston Forsyth McNair and Leslie Cyril Watson were charged with having deliberately set fire- to the Avondale School and other buildings. They were described by the Probation Officer as “a pair of young blackguards.” Tho Court' admitted McNair to two vears’ probation, and Watson was sentenced to three years’ reformative detention.
