-The Wainukurau Chamber of Commerce passed a second resolution of protest against Rhe new telephone charges on Monday night, as follqws: —“That a further letter of protest be. forwarded to the Postmaster-Gene-ral regarding the proposed increase in charges, pointing out that the chamber has’ had- no opportunity of discussing the matter with Mr. Markman, although a visit from him had been promised.”—Press Assn.
