BETTER PRICES FOR FAT LAMBS. RY TELEGEAPH— PRESS ASSOCIATION.' Christchurch, April 11. At Addington market to-day there were larger yardings than last week. Fat lambs improved .in price. Store sheep showed a rather decided drop for old owes, but other classes were little changed. Store sheep.—A largo yarding for this time of the year, including lines from Hawke’s Bay, Nelson and Marlborough. Old ewes which formed the bulk of the yarding, were down. 2s. to 3s. per head on last week, good ewes were Is. cheaper, aud backward lambs were easier by Is. to Is. 6d. Passings of ewes were frequent. Good 4,6, and- 8-tooth ewes made 275. to 28s. 4'd.; ordinary 2,4, 6, and 8-tooth 19s. to 225. 6d., ordinary 2-tooth halfbred 295., failing mouthed 13s. 6d. to 18s. 6d., aged ss. Bd. to 12s. 2d. Forward lambs 21s. Bd. to 235. 3d., ordinary 14s. 6d. to 195., inferior 11s. to 145., cull ss. Bd. to 10s. 6d., 4,6, and 8tooth half bred wethers 21s. to 255.. 2tootli halfbred wethers 19s. 6d. to 225. 3d. Fat Lambs.—32so were penned. Inferior sorts were neglected.
