AVELLINGTON MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE.

The weekly mgeting of the management committee of the Wellington Football Association was held last night. Present:—Messrs. A. E. Wells.. C. Webb, P. Banks, C. Webster G. F. Aers, H. Liversage, W. Duncan, and A. Williams (secretary). The question of appointing a representative on the appointments committee of the Referees’ Association was considered, and it was decided that, oiling to the difficulty of members finding time for such a duty/, an appointment could not bo made, but any further suggestion would receive duo attention. . Ferguson. —The club is to be informed that the request should come from the player, in the first instance. An offer from the Hutt Council of a lease of four acres on the Western Hutt Road was referred to the finance committee. , , . The appointment of a caretaker for Association Park was referred to the finance committee. Messrs. Wells and Duncan were appointed delegates to attend a meeting on Monday next, in connection with the soldiers’ memorial.The secretary reported that twentyfair plXing grounds were available, and the city reserves would be available on April 21.
