THE KAIKOURA’S CARGO
DAMAGE NOT SO EXTENSIVE AS EXPECTED. By telegraph.—Press association. Auckland, Apri' 11. The discharging of cargo from the Kaikoura’s No. 4 hold continues. 'lt has now been found that the damage is not so extensive as was at first thought. Tho fire originated in the starboard after-corner of the hold, and spread at the top. The indications are that approximately one third of the cargo is damaged. Tho vessel will leave for Opua on Tuesday.,
