The public meeting, to be held at flic Y.M.C.A. Hall to-morrow, at 8 p.m., in connection with the resurrection of baseball, is expected to be a big success. No stone is being left unturned to ensure the firm re-estab-lishment of the game in Wellington, and arrangements are noir practically complete, whereby the game can be resumed without interfering with our two great pastimes —cricket and football. It is claimed that baseball will greatly assist cricketers in . fielding and general keenness. During the meeting several expert players will expound tho virtues' of the game that has such a grip on tho Americans and Australians.
