BROADCASTING SERMONS
INNOVATION IN SYDNEY. ' Sydney, April 10. Tho first attempt in Sydney to broadcast a sermon proved successful. Many owners of private wireless outfits in the various suburbs heard the whole •sermon distinctly. An innovation, which promises to prove popular, has been made at St. Laurence Anglican Church m the city. Instead of giving the usual sermon, the rector, occupying the pulpit, answers the questions of another clergyman from tho nave, who acts as tho people’s advocate and who keeps the discussion to definite practical lines. A large congregation at the initiatory service followed frankly and keenly the subject of Easter and the Resurrec lion.—Press Assn.
