ACCEPTED A LIFT
AND WAS ACCIDENTALLY KILLED by telegraph.— Panss Association. Hawora, March 19. Two men, Harry Miller and M’asford, were returning to Maiiaia front the races on Saturday on a motor-bicycle, which broke down. The men were picked up by a car, which, after going some distance, skidded. A wheel collapsed, the car overturned, and Miller was severely injured and died in a fci» minutes. M’asford was taken to the hospital. Miller was 184 years of age.
