MDLLE. LENGLEN BEATS MRS MALORY BRILLIANT PLAY AT NICE. Paris, March 18. Playing at the Riviera tournament at Nice, Mdlle. Lenglen beat Mrs. Mallory, 6—o, 6—o. Critics agree that Mdlle. Lenglen served and played brilliantly, and made Mrs. Mallory appear a second-rater. The victor received an ovation. Mdlle. Lenglen defeated Miss Ryan, 6 — 1, 6 —o. In the semi-finals of the doubles Lycett and Miss Rvan beat Count Soumamkoff and MfllF. Lenclen. 6—3, 7 — 5. This is the first time since the Olympic Games at Antwerp that Mdlle.
