GLADSTONE CLUB. >-rom Oun Own Correspondent. Carterton, March 19. The annual meeting of the Gladstone Football Club was held at Carterton on Saturday night, Mr. A. E. Bootlj presiding. Tho report and balance-sheet (showing a credit of £25 ss. 3d.) were adopted. It was decided to open tho neason r fortn-'ght hence. It was resolved that a senior and junior team be entered in the. competition*. Tho election of officers resulted :— Patron, Mr. R. Cooper.- president, Mr. A. E. Booth; vice-presidents, Messrs. T. Clark, B. R. Ravner, L. Arthur, W. Jackson, F. Cooper, A. Johnson, J. K. Strang, H. Nitz, H. Keltic, F. Sexton; Alex. Johnson, W. H. Booth, W. T. Douglas, H. McLaren, O. Donald, J. F. Foley, H. Oates, D. Thompson, J. Johnston, F. Foreman, I s . Kummer, E. Mason. G. Foreman, J. R. Strang, W. T. Riddel. N. McKay. A. Ross, J. Scott, J. Snell, jun., and E. Harland; secretary, Mr. Frank Booth: delegates to the AY-R.U.. Messrs. A. E. Booth. T. Clarke, and IT. J. McKenzie: senior match committee, Messrs.. F. Booth C. James, T. Pike, n’.ifl E. B. Booth. ’ The subscription was fixed at ss. for seniors and 4s. for juniors. The delegates were instructed to support the proposal to reduce the 'inion’s management committee.
