PECULIAR ACCIDENT
HORSE’S LEG BROKEN. A decided mix-up occurred " last evening on the Hutt Road between KMwnrra and tho city. Mrs. Percy Richardson was driving a horse and gig along the road, and when they came to tho overhead bridge the train came over the bridge. At the -same time Mr. J. D. Cliath’iers, riding a motor-cycle, came under tic bridge. The horse was startled by ilio train and shied, striking a post. The mo-tor-cycle collided with ihe horse, the animal’s leg was uro ken, and i: had to be_destroyed. Otherwise nc damage was done.
