HEART DISEASE AMONG SCHOOL CHILDREN
CASES IN NEW YORK. (Rec. March 19, 9.15 p.m.) New York,'March 19. Twenty thousand school children, 2 per cent, of the total, have heart disease, according to a survey made by the Bellevue Hospital, the city’s chief institution. This is due chiefly to caries, diseased tonsils, and malnutritions A campaign is being launched for greater clinical care, especially in cases of juvenile rheumatism, which is duo to the first two and is the forerunner of cardiac trouble. — Aus.-N.Z.
