A PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION. Mr. R. W Shallcrass is acting as secretary of a movement in Wellington, which has for its object the formation of a Wellington Girls' College Parents Association A circular issued says: "There has existed for some time a very strong feeling amongst those interested in the welfare of the Girls College that if justice is to be secured for tliis important institution, an influential association of parents al ? c \ other sympathetic persons should be formed 1° watch and promote the interests of the college. You are no doubt aware of the difficulties under which the principal and her staff have been working, and the obstacles which have been placed in the way of securing a new site for a- modern college.
