WANGANUI TEAJI DEFEATS HUTT VALLEY. Owing to tho 'heavy rain which foil during Wednesday night, no play was possible between, the Wellington Club and the Wanganui visitors yesterday morning. The visitors attended .at the .green, and wore given morning tea and tho freedom of the billiardroom. . Tho 'Wanganui bowlers played nnks from the Hutt Valley clubs in the aftomoon on the Petone green, where 'they were given a hearty welcome. The hoavv rain had made the green on the “dead” side, and prevented keen nlay.
