LEADERSHIP OF NEW SOUTH WALES PARTY MR. McGIRR ELECTED BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION. —COPYRIGHT. Sydney, March 10. The Australian Labour Party £xecutixe has elected Mr. J. J. McGirr Leader of the State Labour Party, as a counterblast to the Parliamentary Party’s motion of renewed confidence in Mr. Dooley. Mr. McGirr was the only member of the party who was nominated. As the executive has given tho supporters of Mr. Dooley seven days to signify their acceptance of Air, McGirr. it is anticipated that a serious split will occur in the interim.— Press Assn.
