DAIRYMEN FINED
DELAY IN CLEANING UP. Ernest Edward Lewer and Lionel Isaacs pleaded guilty before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., on Friday, to failing to clean up their dairy at Karori immediately after milking, as required by the Dairy Industry Act, and were fined 40s. and costs. It was stated in extenuation that defendants did not know that the cleaning-up had to be done immediately. On this morning it was left until 11.30 a.m., later than was their usual practice. Air. Hunt: You are liable to a fine of £5O. Fined 40s. and costs.
