CHILD’S BODY FOUND ON BEACH
BY TELEGRAPB.>-l'e£6S ASSOCIATION. Auckland, March 9. At the inquest on the body of the child found on the Stanley Bay beach on February 19, it was stated that the parentage had not been traood. There wore no marks on the skin indicating violence. The body had not been long in the water, and death had occurred only 24 to 48 hours previously. 'The Coroner returned a verdict that death was the result of asphyxiation following suffocation.
