SLEEPING SICKNESS
4 EPIDEMIC IN NEW YORK. (Rec. Alarch I), 9.30 p.m.) Hew York, March 8. There is an epidemic of cncephilitis lethargic (sleeping sickness). Thirtytwo cases were reported to-day, and 360 have been reported since January 1, and 112 deaths. The Health Department says it a concomitant of in-fluenza.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
