(Rec. February 7, 10.25 p if..) Rome, February 6. The Government’s action against Communist conspirators is more drastic than was at first apparent. It amounts to a general clearing of all Communist and Anarchist • elements. The arrests multiply throughout . the country. The Nationalist militia is ferreting out Bolsheviks everywhere, and hundreds of exponents of the Third Internationale have been lodged in gaol.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. COMMUNISTS’ VIOLENT MANIFESTO Rome, February 6. The Communist Internationale published a violent manifesto calling, on the world’s workers to rise against Fascism. The Government ordered the arrest of ten Communist leaders and tho seizure of Communist funds. The sums seized were considerable, 250,000 francs being found in a former Communist Parliamentarian’s house. — Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
