ATHENIO FROM LONDON. At 6.30 o’clock yesterday morning the Shaw. Savill and Albion liner Athenlo arrived in the stream at Wellington from London and Southampton, via Colon, Pam ama, and BaJboa. After pratique had been granted, the vessel bsrthed at NO. 1 south (outer tee) Queen’s Wharf at 1D.28 a.m. yesterday. The Athenio, after loading at London, left there on December 28, and called in dt Southampton to embark .her passengers. She sailed from the latter port on December 29, and for tho first few days had rough weather. Conditions soon improved, and tho weather remained fine till arrival at Colon on January 15. Coal was taken into the ship’s bunkers, and aiter a stay of an hour she resumed her voyage, passing through Panama- Canal without delay. The Athenio arrived, at Balboa at 8 p.m. on January 15, and tho passengers were enabled to- have a run ashore. The vessel sailed again at noon on January 16., She stopped off Pitcairn Island at 4 p.m. on Japiary 27 to enable the islanders to exchange mails ami dispose of fresh vegetables and fruit.
