In the Magistrate’s Court on Monday, the following maintenance cases were hoard by Dlr. E. Page. S M.: —
John Cecil Kiernan, whoso arrears totalled £47 10s., was sentenced to one . month’s iiriprisonmcnt. tlhe warrant to bo suspended so long as he navs 14s. per week; Charles William Price (arrears £52) was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment, warrant suspended so long as £2 ss, is contributed weekly. William Slattery (arrears £8 Bs. Bd.) was sentenced to two irionths’ imprisonment, warrant suspended so lone as £1 10s. por week is paicl; Frank McJMahon (arrears £4l 55.) M r as sentenced* toC.three njonths. imprisonment, warrant : suspended so jong as 12s. Gd. is paid each weekElizabeth Alexander was granted separation, maintenance, and guardianship orders against Christopher Alexander, tho weekly contribution being fijtod at-£l 12s;-6d. George Patrick Baskevillc was ordered to pay Maysie Frances Baskeville maintenance at the rate of £1 15s. per week. - -
