Hughes’s resignation, declares :-“The fate that attended Mr Lloyd George has overtaken all. Hughes.’ People have grown weary of his forceful, aggressive personality, and are disposed to question his almpst dictatorial proceedings,, to which a lona term of office with but slender majorities and the prestige in Europe during the war, inclined IPnl »—Aus.-N.Z.
