RIFLE SHOOTING

SUBURBS CLUB Members of tho Suburbs Club held their first shoot in the fourth senes and sixth championship round at 500 and 6<X) yards on Saturday. Tho weather was at times dull and threatening and caused trouble with elevation, but some satisfactory scores were made, notably those of 11. Hunt, T. Goodall, and C. Whiteman, 47 each at 500 yards, and A. Henderson a. good 46 at COO yards. The “Daily Mail” shoot to be held by the club to-day will give members a “try out” for the national .meeting, as it is over all ranges. Ihe following aro Saturday’s scores, with handicap:—

OLD NAVALS’ CLUB The Old Navals’ Club fired its second shoot in the third series at 500 and 600 yards. Tho weather conditions were tho best experienced this season, and the shooting should hare been better. AV. E. Aston shot well, scoring 47 at 500 and 44 at 600 yards.
