Meetings are to be held by the Huff Valley Electric Power Board during the present week at the different centres throughout the district to enable ratepayers to obtain first-hand information regarding the board’s loan proposals. The poll willbe taken on January 31, and ratepayers will be askod to sanction a loan of £200.000 Ji is proposed to raise what money is required from time to time as the advancementof the district renders necessary and the works progress.
