Mararoa left Wellington last night with 380 passengers, her full complement, and crossed Cook Strait In fair weather. At 11 pjn. she ran into a strong southerly, and at midnight encountered a strong southerly gale and rough sea. which continued until 4 a.m. Sho did not reach Point Gibson till seven o’clock this morning. The weather moderating from this point, the Mararoa arrived at Lytteljon at 11.87 a.m.
