In response to repeated requests from the public, the Commercial Travellers’ Association have decided to augment their funds in aid of local children’s charities by giving another “Joy Night” in the Town Hall on November 17. Those who participated in the fun last August are not likely to bo absent on this occasion. An energetic committee are working hard to ensure success, and the best of jazz music will be provided. Apart altogether from the good value given for the 2s. 6d. ticket, in the way pf five hn-'-c’ pleasure, and a chance, in the in- inion, patrons have the satisfaction of knowing that they will also provide a Christmas present for some poor little child in a local institution. The committee deserve every success in their annual effort, and tickets are available from any member of the association. ...
