EnjoyTiient was plainly written over the proceedings at Mrs. J. Paterson’s concert to seafarers on Thursday al the Sailors’ Friend Society, when the big audience were helped by Mesdames J. Paterson, Monckton, DgmpsteT, Judd, and Edwards, and Misses Passau, Judd, Hannah. Madame Dempster and Miss Hannah wefe at the piano. Skill, fun, and determination were displayed in the competitions; prizes came from Picton, tho hostess, and Mrs. Fletcher, and were won by the Mahana, Otarama. and the men in port. Many guests had a most enjoyable time on Wednesday at the “kitchen tea” for Mr. and Mrs. A. Turner, workers, who were recently married.
