FOR A GOOD COMMUNITY SONG. Tho final mid-day community sing is to bo held on Wednesday next. This will not be the last of the season as it is intended to have a grand finale on an evening to be arranged next month, when six song leaders will busy themselves in a great vocal urge. Community singing has come to stay. It is To be revived next winter, and already ideas for making it even more interesting than has been the case during the past three months are being hatched. Mr. Frank Goldberg, a member of the Community Singing Committee, has offered a donation of £5 for tho best original community song (words and music) submitted -by a ceriain date next year. Tho committee has decided to supplement that amount » by £5.
