RECONSTRUCTION OF EUROPE
THE FIRST ESSENTIAL CO-OPERATION OF UNITED STATES BY TELBGBAPH.—PBESS ASSOCIATION. —OOPTBIOHT. (Roc. June 28, 10 20 p.m.) London, June 27. Viscount Grey, dtAing a debate in the House of Lords on the Genoa Conference, said that the first thing essential to the reconstruction of Europe was to secure the co-operation of America. He blamed the Government for arranging the Genoa and Hague Conferences first, and inviting America afterwards. They should previously have assured themselves that their methods were acceptable to America. The Genoa Conference was devoted to securing an agreement with the Bolsheviks, which was a mistake. Such an agreement was not of practical importance in the reconstruction of Europe.—-Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. HAGUE CONFERENCE LONG DRAWN-QUT FIGHT OVER CREDITS ’ , (Reo.
