PUBLIC NOTICEds hereby given that in pursuance of the powers vested in it. by the Public Works Act, 1908, and by every and any other Act enabling it in that behalf, the Council of the County of Hutt resolved at a Special Meeting held on the 19th day of April, 1922, to make a Special Order enacting Heavy Traffic By-laws. The object and purport of the By-law is as follows: — 1. "That transportation of any goods cart which or together with any thing or things being transported thereon weighs more than one and ai half tons avoirdupois to each pair of wheels on or over either the Paekftkariki or Rimutaka Hill Road shall coase during the whole of the months of May, June, July, August, : and September in each year.” 2.
