In the Anzac Day proceedings at Groytown, returned soldiers and those of earlier campaigns took part, as well as Territorials, Cadets, Scouts, and school children. A procession, headed by the Greytown Municipal Band, marched through the town. A cenotaph opposite tlie Town Hall was beautifully decorated with wreaths. The* Revs. A. Costain (Methodist), G. W. bent (Anglican), and J. Alacki'e (Presbyterian) all took part in the service. Notwithstanding the rough weather several hundred icsidonts took part in the ceremony.
