RINTOUL STREET will be closed to all City or north-bound vehicles excepting tramcars on the above date between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. Vehicular traffic returning to the City from the Athletic Park must travel via Luxford Street and Adelaide Road. The parking of vehicles will not be permitted in Rintoul Street between Riddiford Street and Luxford Street or in Luxford Street during the hours above mentioned. PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC. Persons occupying seats on the western bank of the Athletic Park are requested to note that an exit will be provided on the top of the bank leading into Adelaide Road, and it is advisable for persons accommodated on this bank and walking to tho City after tho Match to use this exit. NOTE.—The Public are requested not to rush the various exits upon tho termi nation of tho Match l , but proceed quietly, in order that the ground may bo cleared gradually. I SHAUL be very glad if Citizens will be good enough to respond as freely as possible to the Fund being raised by the Civic League for the purpose of relieving the distress due to the present unemployment in the City. Donations (large or small) may be forwarded to the Secretary of the Civic League, or to myself at the Town Hall. The City Council is making an effort through its Engineering Department to find, as speedily as possible, some useful work upon which a large proportion of the unskilled labour available may be employed.
