EFFECT ON TASMANIAN APPLE TRADE. Hobart, September 16. A decision is likely to bo sought to declare illegal the provisions of the Navigation Act, which deprive Tasmania of visits from overseas vessels, inasmuch as they mean restraint of trade, particularly in regard to the export of apples.— Press Assn.
