ON VERGE OF GREAT NEW EPOCH.
London, September 14. The British Association has concluded one of its most memorijhle gatherings at Edinburgh. The association will meet at Hull in 1922, at Liverpool m 19-J, and probably iu Canada in 1924. The president, Sir Edward 1 horpe, in hi< concluding address, said that the proceedings showed that science was on tho verge ,of a great new epoch. The.ro was no question that science now was al the parting of the .ways, and in the immediate future the foundations cl science would receive most fundamental development.—Reuter.
