"OPEN SHOP” PLAN ADOPTED. (Rec. September 16, 5.5 p.m.) Chicano, S f ntembor 15. The Armour, ,Swift, Wilson,. and Cudahy packing companies have established an open shop, and have notified the unions that they will only employ non-union officials in the future.
