In response to the special appeal made by the New Zealand Anglican Board of Missions on behalf of the Melanesian Mission, the sum of 4)5690 has been contributed to date. Returns have still to come in from several parishes in different parts of the Dominion. The sailing of the Southern Cross is assured.
