ELECTORS’ ASSOCIATION MEETS. The annual meeting of the. Lyall Bay Municipal Electors’ Association was held in tho Maranui Church Hall on Thursday evening. Mr. J. H. BurgoyneThomas presided. At /he request of the meeting. Dr. Truhy King, delivered a lecture on the subject of child welfare. It was resolved by tho meeting to set up a committee to interest the district in tho vork of the Plunket Society, and to raise funds for iho proposed Karitane Homo. The report and balance-sheet (details of which have boon published) were adopted. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows:—President, Mr. J. M. Bertram: vice-presidents, Messrs. A. C. Blake, J. Leuchars, J. IT. Ryder, AV. Gemmell, and R. L. Jones; committee, Messrs. Burgoyno-Thomas, IV. T. Edward. R. D. Johnstone. IV. S. Sherwood, J. B. Reid, IV. Gilbert, A. E. Haswell, J>. E. Cairns: secretary and treasurer, Mr. F. J. Evans.
