HAWKE’S BAY LADIES’ CHAMPIONSHIP. By Telegraph— Press Association. Napier, September 15. The semi-finals in the Hawke’s Bay Indies’ golf championship were played to-day. Mrs. Guy-WHliains (Masterton) beat Mis’ E. Brown (Napier) at the 2Gth hole, and Miss Gambrill (.Wellington) boat Miss E. Bell (Wellington), 5 up and 3 to play. The final will be played to-morrow. f MANAAVATU TOURNAMENT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston North, September 15. The semi-finals of the Atanwatu open golf championship were played to-day. G. Saunders (Wanganui) beat C. Clements (Manawatu), 3 and 1; C. Bidwill (Wairarapa) beat J. Goss (Wanganui). 2 and 1. The final, 36 holes, will be played to-morrow.
