WELLINGTON FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION
The weekly meeting of tho Management Committee of the Wellington Football Association wag held last evening at the Y.M.C.A. Present: Messrs. W. Auld (chairman), A. Williams (hon. secretary), R. Hendry, H. Yeoman, A, .E Wells, and C. Webster. ( The Wellington Rovers were granted permission to play Martinborough schools on Friday. Permission was granted the Aotea Ladies' Association Club to play the Canterbury Ladies' Association at Christchurch on Saturday, September 24. It wag decided to postpone all fixtures for Saturday owing to the Rugby Test mhtch.
The draw for the senior enp ties (semifinals) were: Porirua v. Y.M.C.A., at Association Park; Thistle v. Marist. at Association Park No. 2, on September 24, at 3 p.m. Thorndon will meet Marist in the ond division cup final at Association Park as a curtain-raiser to tho senior game on No. 2 ground on September 24, at 1.30 p.m. Manawatu Association asked for a Wellington team to visit Palmerston North on Saturday next. The committee decided that the application was too late and they oould not see their way to send * team. It was decided to replay the Karon Swifts match (senior division) as the appointed referee did not appear on Saturday last. It was resolved to give the points to Institute 4th B division owing to the Stop Out Club playing unregistered players. ,
