At a largely-attended meeting of the South Canterbury executive of the Danners' Union in Timaru to-day, it was decided to protest emphatically .Against tho suggestion that the Postal Department should levy J>2 on all rural mail boxes. It was further agreed that only thoso who contribute should bo served with mails.
